To use The Lost Trail program, simply copy all the files in the
distribution archive to a directory that Windows can locate. After
this is done, use the Program Managers NEW command to add a new program
item. This program can also be executed from the File Manager by
pointing the LOSTRL.EXE file.
The goals and other program documentation can be found under the HELP
menu once the program is executed. The help for this program is
similar to most other Windows programs.
License Agreement
The use of "The Lost Trail" is subject to the following terms
and conditions:
"The Lost Trail" is copyrighted material. It is protected by the
copyright laws of the United States. You may not make any changes
or modifications to "The Lost Trail." You may not disassemble, or
otherwise reverse-engineer the software in any way.
You may use "The Lost Trail" on a trial basis provided you do not
violate the protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright
laws, and you agree to the terms of the license agreement. If you
continue to use "The Lost Trail" past a 15 day evaluation period you
are obligated to purchase a license for its use.
Asymptote Software, its owners or employees provide no guarantee,
written or implied about the usefulness of this software for any
specific purpose. The user is responsible for any and all losses
that might result from the use of "The Lost Trail" program.
When the registration fee is received with a valid name and address,
a user ID and password will be mailed to the supplied address. This
user ID and password will also allow access to the puzzle solution.
